SEARCH FOR PLANETS (In Norwegian) (12.11.02)
The first planet around another star was detected in 1995.
Since then more than 110 exoplanets have been found. With a new
method
amateur astronomers can detect more planets - even planets
that can support life. The method is based on the phenomenon
taking place with Venus on June 8, 2004.

RESEARCH THAT WILL BE DONE DURING THE TRANSIT
The transit of Venus on June 8, 2004 will be exploited by
researches to do tests that otherwise are impossible.
In addition to studies that can help us find life on exoplanets
(explained above), the Sun itself will be examined.
