The office at the Institute of Theoretical Astrophysics (phone +47 22 85 65 01) may answer simple questions about the transit, but only questions you will find the answer to by reading this pages.

The Norwegian Astronomical Association (NAS) will be the main organizer for activities in Norway during the transit and will therefore hadrly be able to answer requests in the period from May 25 - June 12 (phone 22 85 75 21, mail Also before and after this busy period NAS will be busy, in particular in April, May and June.

Please observe that it may take quite a while to get answers on mail requests in the period around the transit of Venus. We will give priority to urgent and important mails. Other requests will be processed after the transit.

The information staff will probably be enlarged during the period just before the transit.
