Astronomy.no is the english sister site of the norwegian portal for astronomy, astronomi.no. It is run by the Institute for Theoretical Astrophysics (ITA) and the Norwegian Astronomical Society (NAS). The english site, astronomy.no, is mainly used for webcasts and news updates during major events such as solar eclipses. The webserver is powerful enough to tackle considerable load during such events.
